This endeavour received enthusiastic participation from several players in the coatings industry, namely Plascon, Plascon Paint Expert and their stores, TimBuild Somerset West, TimBuild Woodstock, TimBuild Stellenbosch and Jack Hammers Hout Bay, as well as Hamilton’s Brushware.

Despite being a famous tourist attraction, Bo Kaap grapples with significant economic challenges. Many residents face financial hardships, making it challenging to maintain and beautify their homes. This project aimed to ease this issue somewhat, by providing much-needed assistance to these families.

Plascon Paint Expert Store’s Involvement
Plascon Paint Expert and several of their member stores, along with Hamilton’s Brushware, were pivotal collaborators in this project. The much-needed paint products were donated by TimBuild Stellenbosch, Woodstock, and Somerset West, Jack Hammer’s Hout Bay, and Hamilton’s Brushware donated all the brushes, rollers and other accessories that were required to make this project a success.
